I recently received a message on here where the young lady complimented me on my photography and then mentioned she wanted to "borrow" one of my photographs, and hoped I didn't mind.

I contacted her and asked which photograph she was interested in, but received no reply. I must admit, I wondered how you borrow a photograph? It's obvious that the phrase "want to borrow" actually should be read as "have borrowed". Of course, the truth is she didn't borrow one of my photographs, she stole it!

I expect she borrows films and music as well!
