
The Dark Green Fritillary (Argynnis aglaja) and the High-brown Fritillary (Argynnis adippe) are very difficult to tell apart, unless you can view the underside. I recently posted a photograph of the underside of the very rare High-brown Fritillary showing silver centred, brown spots, and this is a shot of the underside of the Dark Green Fritillary, so you can compare the two.
