Great Crested Grebe Mother Carrying Chicks
Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristat) with her new family. These chicks are just a couple days old. After hatching, the stripy chicks are carried around on the backs of their parents, until they fledge at around 71 to 79 days of age.
